Vintage Signed Rural Landscape Oil Painting

Although a little worn in places, this is a very nice vintage European painting, signed by the artist in the bottom right corner.

This oil painting on canvas depicts a rural landscape with a cottage or farmhouse nestled amongst tall trees and lush greenery.

It is signed and dated '69 in the bottom right corner. It's likely to date to 1969 as the style is very similar to other pieces of pastoral art from the period. I don't recognise the full name of the artist, but the first name appears to be Goed, suggesting a Belgian or Dutch background.

There is some loss to the paintwork on the right hand side of this painting, as well as wear to the canvas on the corners, where it has frayed. There are some loose sections to the edge of the canvas where it is attached to the frame. But there are no splits to the canvas, and on the whole it displays well.
