Vintage Signed Oil Painting - French Street Scene

This is a charming vintage French oil painting on board, and signed by G. Wagner.

Depicting a French street scene, the detail on this painting just draws you in. Depicting what appears to be the small corner of an old French castle, some beautiful details have been added in, with tiny flowers lining the fortress wall, the contrast of the gentleman and peasant walking along the road, and the beautiful colouring to depict the walls of the tower. It's a piece that I could look at for a long period of time.

Signed by the artist, this painting has previously been framed and therefore there is some light damage to the edge of the board from where it once sat within the frame. There are also some light surface scratches, but otherwise it is in very good condition.
