Vintage Mid Century White Ironstone Advertising Ham Stand by Mason's

It's no secret I adore ham stands. Made of solid white ironstone, they show off this wonderful material beautifully and make such unique display stands at home for a special occasion.

This vintage mid Century example made by Mason's - featuring a green maker's mark on its base - is an excellent clean example. With advertising for C.T. Harris quality hams and Spicers of Hythe on the the bottom half, this would have been used to display the ham available for sale in this renowned Kent shop, the meat having been supplied by a local butchery.

This ironstone ham stand is in excellent condition, with the advertising still very clear and no crazing, chips or cracks to the ironstone. There are some minor scuff marks in places, mostly on the bottom rim, but nothing substantial.
