Vintage Mid Century Carved Wooden English Breadboard

A uniquely carved vintage ‘Bread’ board, dating from the mid 20th Century.

Dating from the 1960s, this carved wooden ‘Bread’ board is typical of its time. The carved ‘Bread’ stands out at the top of the board and is very deeply carved. It is surrounded by a unique chip carved border.

This board has been used over the years and therefore does show signs of use with some knife marks and scratches from use on the front of the board. It has a TG mark on its back.

But, overall, it is otherwise in excellent condition, with very crisp carving still and it sits flat. It is still great to use and also to have on display when not in use.
