Vintage Large Ironstone Cheese Platter and Cloche

A fantastic two piece cheese Plate with matching cloche, produced by Burleigh, which is in excellent condition.

With fantastic bold, black underglazed typography across the front, this is a large and impressive piece of vintage kitchenware. The dish at the base features a black trim, and has the Burleigh mark to its underside.

In excellent condition, there are no chips or cracks to this piece. There are a few minor scuff marks where there base rim of the dome sits on the dish, plus there is some light crazing and staining to the top of the dish, no doubt from where it has been used. There are also some minor splash marks and scuffs to the base trim. Overall, though, it is a lovely and very clean example.
