Vintage Italian Hand Painted Red and Gold Florentine Tray

This is a beautiful vintage mid 20th Century hand painted Florentine tray, in a striking mix of red and gold.

Made in Italy, this is a medium-sized example. The tray has handles on each side and inlaid carving, which has been a made a feature of by being painted in red and gold decoration. Although there are some scuffs and marks to the paintwork in places, the colouring and decoration is still very vivid.

Overall, it’s a lovely looking piece which is perfect for adding a vintage feel to your decor. It can be used in a range of rooms, for jewellery, and for keys or loose change or for serving tea upon.
