A beautifully shaped vintage wirework egg basket, in the shape of a chicken, dating from the early to mid 20th Century
Sourced from France, this French wirework basket is in good sturdy condition. It would make an interesting and quirky addition to any kitchen. A nice large size, this basket can comfortably hold a dozen eggs.
This basket has aged well, although there is some oxidisation in places, most notably around the top collar of the basket and on a couple of the supporting wires.
