This is a listing for one French vintage white asparagus plate by Le Pillivuyt, dating from the mid twentieth Century. A total of six are available.
These are wonderfully large plain whiteware asparagus plates, although their design is extremely versatile and could be used as a side plate for many serving purposes. An unusual design, with a raised centre line designed to keep the asparagus in position, they also make fabulous display items, as part of a whiteware of white kitchenalia display.
Produced in the mid twentieth Century, they are all in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or crazing. There are just a few odd age spots in places. All of the plates carry the Le Pullivuyt mark on their base.
