Vintage French Vin Du Pays Bottle

A great example of an extra large French stoneware bottle ‘Vin du Pays', designed to serve local regional wines in.

This Charolles bottle has its original cork stopper and is such an attractive piece, with the black French art deco style typography contrasting against the crisp white of the bottle. The perfect display piece. 

There are a few scuff marks and scratches to the surface of the bottle but otherwise it's in very good condition with no cracks or chips. The cork has worn but can still be lifted in and out. There is also some residue on the underside of there the stopper has sat. 

Perfect items for adding a French country look to your interior, it is usable but would equally look nice displayed with flowers or used as candle holders.
