This is a lovely example of a vintage rustic French stoneware cheese strainer.
Dating from the mid to late 20th Century, this cheese faisselle pot is in excellent condition, with no cracks or chips. There is some light crazing and general wear to the top rim but this adds timeworn charm to the piece. In a creamy white colour, it is an excellent way of adding a rustic feel to any interior. Perfect used as tea light holders, soap dishes or trinket pots.
