Vintage French "Quilles" Skittle Set

This is a very nice set of nine vintage French wooden skittles, plus a wooden ball.

Known as 'Quilles' in France, this set dates to the early to mid 20th Century. Each of the wooden skittle pins is hand turned, and has decorative classic black and red stripes. The throwing ball has a number '18' printed on it.

In lovely order, there is some minor wear to some of the holes on each of the pins, plus one skittle has a stained section. But this is a great piece of French nostalgia and is still very usable as an indoor parlour game.
