Vintage French Large White Ironstone Asparagus Serving Dish

A lovely vintage French plain white ironstone asparagus platter.

Likely to date to the mid 20th Century, this asparagus plate is perfect for serving up asparagus, as well as a range of other vegetables, at the table.

Made of ironstone, it is a solid and heavyweight piece. It is also a decorative piece in its own right, with the main section scuplted to form individual asparagus storks.

In excellent condition, there are no chips, cracks or crazing. There is just a couple of small areas where there is some minor discolouration and age marks, as well as minor scuff marks from use.
