Vintage French Green Transferware Ironstone Serving Tureen

A lovely example of an early to mid 20th Century example of a lidded transferware French Tureen.

This is a beautiful piece, featuring a green transferware floral pattern to the base and lid, with the same colour also featuring on the handles. The tureen has wonderful sculpted handles.

It has aged over time, with some patches of light staining and scuff marks in places. However, on the whole it is a clean example and there are no cracks or chips. There is a maker's mark on the base, although this has faded in places and I don't recognise it.

These tureens are excellent to use for display around the home and are perfect for adding a French country or rustic farmhouse touch to any interior.
