Vintage French Chinoiserie Faux Bamboo Framed Mirror

A fantastic chinoiserie style French mirror dating to the early 20th Century.

With the wooden frame turned and carved to resemble bamboo, mirrors like these are design classics and not that easy to find. It's a stylish decorative accessory in its own right but, with only light foxing and blurring in places, it's still a very practical and usable piece.

There are some light water marks to the frame in places, as well as a few old worm holes (which have been treated) plus an old, tight split to the wood. But this mirror is still in very good condition. The original chain is missing but one could easily be added to hang this either vertically or horizontally.
