A wonderful example of a nicely carved vintage French bread platter, featuring a deep and intricately carved decorative border.

Ideal for display and also serving up freshly baked bread, this vintage French bread plate is in very good condition. Featuring a carved motto around its border, which translates to 'Give Us This Day Our Daily Bread', this platter also stands out in the detail of the carved wheat across the bottom half of the plate.

In overall very good condition, there is just a small section of loss to one edge of the border at the top. Otherwise, it is a very fine example with just some minor scuff marks and scratches from use.
