A wonderful and rarely seen example of a vintage English fruit or herb masher.
A large example, this masher features a wonderful circular geometric pattern on the underside, with small ridges designed to help the mashing of fruit or herbs. The result is a lovely decorative piece of treen.
In good condition, the carving is still very clearly defined. There is some dryness to the wood, but this can be rectified with regular waxing. The handle is very slightly loose, but it is secured in place.
