Vintage Decorative Large French Water Dispenser

This is a large vintage French decorative piece for the home.

Dating from 20th Century, this terracotta water dispenser is a large size, with black transfer print graphics, 'Servez Vous', across the front. It was made by the Rhodaceram pottery and bears a maker's mark on the base.

In fair condition for its age, it makes quite an imposing decorative feature. It is complete with the original cork top but the smaller cork to stop water escaping is now missing. This could of course be replaced, and it would also be wise to also replace the top stopper if you wanted to use this too.

The pot has a painted wash on it, which has now faded in places, as well as some stains and scuffs. However, there are no cracks or chips and it is still a sturdy piece.
