Vintage 1940s Large Banded White Ironstone Sadler 'Kleen' Kitchen Jar

This is a listing for a large antique plain white banded ironstone storage jar, produced by Sadler in their Kleen kitchen ware range. 

Dating from the 1940s, the Kleen range of storage jars often carried different colourways and labels on them, so it's rare to see a plain example like this. 

A nice extra large size, there’s plenty of space to store food of any type in this jar and it will also make an impression on display. In good condition for its age, there are no cracks or chips on this jar. There is light crazing all over, with the lid notably more heavily crazed with some light staining. There are some age marks and scuffs on the pot, as well as on the base rim. Overall, though, it is a nice clean example.
