Timeworn Antique French Sepia Transferware Plate

A very pretty antique French 19th Century plate.

Carrying a mark for Gien on its base, this plate has a beautiful sepia coloured pattern featuring a swallow sitting amongst branches.  

Aged over time, the plate has natural timeworn charm. With light crazing all over, there are patches where this has stained. There is also a hairline on the rim, but this has not penetrated all the way through.
