Stunning Small Vintage Italian Florentine Tray

This is a beautiful vintage mid 20th Century hand painted Florentine tray, in a striking mix of gold with hints of red.

Made in Italy, this is a smaller sized example. The tray has handles on each side and lightly inlaid carving. The colouring is especially pretty, with a dark wax having been used to finish the central gold section, creating a contrast of textures, as well as red accents which resemble hearts in the central section.

Although there are some scuffs and marks to the paintwork in places, the colouring and decoration is still very vivid and it is in excellent overall condition.

Overall, it’s a lovely looking piece which is perfect for adding a vintage feel to your decor. It can be used in a range of rooms, for jewellery, and for keys or loose change or for serving tea upon.
