Stunning Antique French Landscape Oil Painting dated 1904

A stunning antique French landscape painting, depicting a mill house by the side of a river, signed and dated 1904.

This painting is a delight, exquisitely executed with outstanding attention to detail. A French country scene, the main focus of the painting is a beautiful mill, with washing drying on an upstairs terrace and surrounded by beautiful trees and flowers. In the foreground, a lady can be seen fishing and distant hills can be seen in the background. 

An oil on board, the paint has cracked in places but is largely in tact, except at the edges where there is more wear. A rough hole has also been pierced into the top of the painting, presumably for hanging.

The painting is signed but I cannot make out the name. It appears to have been painted by a professional artist - the quality certainly suggests this, but also the back of the board appears to have been used as a study for another piece.
