Small Italian Florentine Tray - Turquoise and Gold

This is a beautiful vintage mid 20th Century hand painted Florentine tray, in a striking mix of turquoise and gold.

Made in Italy, this is a smaller sized example. The tray has handles on each side and lightly inlaid carving. The colouring is especially pretty, with a dark wax having been used to add accents in places, creating a contrast of textures.

Although there are some scuffs and surface scratches to the centre of the tray, the colouring and decoration is still very vivid and it is in excellent overall condition.

Overall, it’s a lovely looking piece which is perfect for adding a vintage feel to your decor. It can be used in a range of rooms, for jewellery, and for keys or loose change or for serving tea upon.
