Small Early 20th Century French White Ironstone Cafe au Lait Bowl

This is a listing for a small antique French plain white ironstone cafe au lait bowl.

Dating from the 1920s, this café au lait bowl is in excellent condition. In a smaller than average size than usual, this makes them even more useful to use for hot beverages and also as dipping or cereal bowls.

The base of the pot bears the mark for renowned manufacturers Frugier of Limoges. Their culinary Aluminite range was particularly respected.

There are some surface screams light age spotting on the inside of this bowl, as well as some minor wear to the base rim. But otherwise it’s in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks, and is an excellent example.

In summary, this is an excellent piece of vintage French kitchenalia which look lovely displayed but is also incredibly useful around the home still.
