Small Bentwood Antique English Sussex Trug

This is a lovely antique early 20th Century small sized Sussex trug, in lovely condition with its original slats and fixings.

This trug has a lovely timeworn patina to it, with a richness to the colour of the handle and top rim. This cute trug oozes charm, and it is an ideal home or garden accessory. Although it is small in size, it is ideal for carrying a small amount of vegetables or cut flowers from the garden, or for display purposes in the home.

In good original and sturdy condition, there are no repairs to this trug. There is however some wear to the handle where some of the top layer of the bentwood has been stripped away, leaving it a little frayed on the underside. It is still in solid condition with no wider damage, though.
