Small Antique French Terre de Fer Soupiere

A very pretty antique French ironstone soupiere bowl with a pink transferware floral pattern and buttery timeworn colouring.

With a faded mark to its base, this fantastic soup tureen was sourced in France. With buttery coloured staining all over, this bowl oozes timeworn charm, especially coupled with the pink transferware pattern.

There is some minor damage on one side of the soupiere, with a fine hairline through the handle and also on the side of the bowl. But these are stable and doesn't affect use of the bowl as a decorative accessory. 

Perfect for use as a decorative antique around the home - for dried flowers or bulbs.
