Small Antique French Still Life Oil on Board - Basket of Roses

A beautiful example of an antique early 20th Century French oil painting, depicting a still life of roses in a basket.

This is a very nice example of a small oil painting, perfect for popping on a shelf or for displaying in a small corner. Although the basket itself is quite simply depicted, the layering of the vibrant colours of the roses really stands out. The painting is signed although I can't make out the name

There is some minor wear to the edges of the board but overall it is in very good condition and the colours on this painting are very vivid still.
