Small Antique French Bow Topped Ormolu Easel Frame

This frame, dating to the 1920s, is a very pretty piece, featuring a beautifully worked bow and garland at the top of it. The frame itself has an ormolu finish and is classically art deco in its style. 

In full working order, the back of the frame slides out and can fit a picture measuring 6.3cm by 9.5cm.

There is no glass frontage to the frame and there are marks where the metal has tarnished and scratched in places. Overall, though, this is a very pretty decorative French antique.
