Small Antique French 19th Century Butter Mould

This is a lovely rustic and timeworn French butter brick mould, with a fabulous patina, dating from the 19th Century.

This is such a sweet smaller size. It is quite unique to find rounder shapes of these which have the deeper mouldings. The decoration is very pretty, featuring a sweet carved flower and its foliage. This is perfect to give a rustic touch to your interior kitchen styling. 

There are some surface knocks and scratches, but the condition is overall very good with a gorgeous rich colouring to the mould. Unfortunately, the mould's original handle is missing. This is priced to reflect this but it displays well and is still a usable item without this.
