A lovely pair of early 20th Century antique French terre de fer plates, featuring a pretty green transferware pattern on their border.
With a mark on one of the bases for St Amand, these are a pretty pair of ironstone plates. Both in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks. But with some timeworn discolouration and light crazing and scuff marks which adds unique charm. The pretty wreath and block patterning around the edge of each of the plates is in a gorgeous deep green colour.
All featuring the Nimy stamp on their back, these plates date to the first half of the 20th Century. They all have a beautiful rich teal coloured pattern, featuring perching and swooping birds, butterflies and roses.
