This is a lovely example of a vintage rustic French white ironstone cheese strainer.
Dating from the mid 20th Century, this white ironstone cheese faisaille pot is in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks or chips. It’s a slightly unusual shape and is taller than most you find. It also has a natural speckled finish rather than being pure white in colour. There is some minor wear to the base of the pot, but otherwise it is a clean example.
Perfect used as a tea light holder, soap dish or trinket pot.
