I love the dark and moody tones on this French 19th Century confit pot. The glazed exterior mixes browns and beige colouring.

Originally designed to preserve foods like olives, this stoneware confit pot is now missing its lid. However, it's perfect to be used as a vase and decorative accessory in the home.

In fair condition for its age, there are no chips. There are two cracks on the front and rear of the pot although they are tight and the pot is stable. One of these runs about half way down and the other only runs through the top rim.
