A beautiful light wood primitive Swedish milk tub, dating from the 1800s.

A lovely decorative item, this tub has a very rustic appearance. Ideal for a variety of decorative purposes around the home and garden, it is a very attractive item with a tied wooden banding feature to the outside of the tub.

The tub is in good sturdy condition. There are a number of old worm holes in a few places both on the outside and inside of the tub but these have been treated. The tied wooden bands around the outside of the barrel have worn and do have some areas of loss. They also aren't fixed into position so can move up and down.
