A wonderful example of a rare and nicely carved vintage French bread platter, featuring a deep and intricately carved decorative border and a central fleur de lys motif.

Ideal for display and also serving up freshly baked bread, this vintage French bread plate is in excellent condition. Featuring a carved motto around its border - Donnez Nous Notre Pain Quotidien, which translates to 'Give Us This Day Our Daily Bread' - this platter also stands out in the detail of the carved wheat across the bottom half of the plate and the addition of a wonderful central plaque featuring fleur de lys and a horn.

In overall good condition, there are a few knocks and scuffs to the board in places, but these aren't overly notable. The rim of the platter is nice and deep.
