This is a listing for a rarely seen Hall’s Simplex Hektograph Ink Pot, dating from the very start of the 20th Century.

Made by Maling, this is a lovely example of a double sided English advertising pot. On the front, the fabulous logo features a town cryer shouting about the virtues of the Simplex Hektograph, which was designed to produce copies of documents using a stencilling process. The back of the pot features instructions on how to use the ink.

This is a great clean example which is in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks. There are a couple of small nibbles to the top rim, as well as the base, as well as general wear to the base. However, otherwise it is in excellent order.

A great example of antique English advertising on ironstone pots which would look wonderful displayed in the home.
