Dating from the early 20th Century, this is a beautiful and very unusually shaped antique Italian florentine box.

I've not seen one in a triangular shape like this before, and the colouring of teal green mixed with the gilt and touches of red make it a very pretty piece. An original looped hinge remains, holding the box open.

Perfect for trinkets and jewellery, it is in excellent condition. There are a couple of areas where there are small amounts of loss to the paint but these are minimal and are mainly on the base. There is no other damage.
