A beautiful example of a rarely seen sculpted two-piece tin chocolate mould in the shape of an Easter bunny.
Dating from the early to mid 20th Century, this is a lovely piece to have on display in the home, especially at Easter time, or to make chocolate bunnies with as presents.
Bearing the mark for JKV Tilburg, this was (and still is) a renowned maker of confectionary moulds. The mould number - 4045 - is also imprinted,
Complete with its two original clips which hold the mould in position, this is good sized example. With lovely details of the rabbit's fur, the basket strapped to its back and him hopping amongst flowers, it's an outstanding example.
There is some mild oxidisation to the outside of the mould in places, plus some wear to the edges, but otherwise it is in very good condition.
Perfect to add to a kitchenalia collection or to put proudly on display around the home.
