Rare Smaller Sized Heart Shaped Ironstone Faisselles

These are delightful early versions of antique French ironstone faisselles, in the shape of hearts, available to purchase individually.

Smaller than most you see, these are very sweet pieces. They are perfect used as tea light holders, soap dishes or trinket pots.

Both moulds are in excellent condition, with some light wear and staining and age marks from use. The mould on the right also has a little chip to its base but this isn't significant and doesn't affect the way this displays or is used. The right hand one is also interesting as one of the holes has become blocked with glaze during the firing process
