An unusual collectable stoneware storage jar for CHEDDAR, in excellent condition with its original lid, dating from the early to mid twentieth Century.
This is a very sweet item which would be perfect for filling with grated cheddar cheese to either store or serve at the table.
In overall good condition, the under glazed black transfer print typography is very clear. There is a small chip to the base rim at the back, plus a small firing chip on the lid, but otherwise this is in excellent order with no cracks.
