Rare Small St Uze Earthenware Tureen

In the iconic blue and white floral pattern, this is a beautiful and hard wearing stoneware lidded tureen. 

In a small size, it's a very attractive piece with a blue floral garland sweeping around the base and lid.

In good, sturdy condition, there is a hairline on one side but this is tight and stable, as well as some scuffs and light wear in places. There is also a firing crack from the time of production to the top of the lid. But this has been present since the date of production and does not affect its use in any way.
