Rare Extra Large 1920s White Ironstone Measuring Jug

This measuring jug is an outstanding example, and one that very rarely becomes available.

In an extra large size, this has a lovely underglazed black typography label for 1500 grams on its size. Inside the jug, there is a scale to enable the jug to be used as a measure.

There is a mark on the base, which I suspect to be for the Czech pottery firm Epiag.

In excellent condition, this is a fabulous piece of antique kitchenalia. There are a few tiny scuff marks in places but it is in very clean condition with no cracks or chips. As to be expected, there is light wear to the base.
