Rare Confitures d'Oranges Picon Pot - Smaller Version

This is a listing for a very rare French confiture pot for Picon Confitures d’Oranges, dating from the early 20th Century.

This French ironstone advertising pot is a scarce survivor and is in nice clean condition. 

This rounded Confiture pot by Picon is the smaller example that was produced, which is harder to source. It is a lovely example, with the beautiful orange decoration around the pot really standing out against the clean backdrop 

This pot does have some minor damage with three tight hairlines, two of which are on the top of the pot and one on the front. But these are all stable and the pot is in sturdy condition. There is also light crazing all over, but these flaws add unique timeworn charm to the piece.
