Rare Antique Whiteware Mould - Hansel & Gretel Depiction

This is a very rarely available white ceramic mould, with a very detailed depiction of the Hansel & Gretel fairytale.

Likely Dutch in origin, this is an excellent piece of antique kitchenalia. Hansel and Gretel can be seen standing alongside the witch, who has a crow perched on her back and a snake behind her. 

Perfect for use with shortbread, gingerbread, jellies or cakes, it has a wonderful amount of detailing. 

In fair condition for its age, the mould does have light crazing all over. There are also a few scuff marks from use and two chip repairs on the underside of the top lip, however these aren't notable when it is displayed.
