Rare Antique Victorian Dummy Egg

These wonderful Victorian white ironstone eggs are a perfect display piece. They were used in chicken coops to encourage hens to lay more eggs. 

Available to purchase individually, I have a total of two eggs available with varying patinas due to their use over the years. One of these carries the Sylvan England branding imprinted on its side. Although they both have wear to them, the Sylvan egg is more weathered in its appearance and also has some loose dirt which has got inside of it over time.
