This is a stunning piece of antique Victorian kitchenalia. Designed to be used as a stamp for butter or biscuits, it's a wonderful looking piece.

In an unusual boat shape, this sycamore stamp features a heart at each end, framed by a wonderful border and central detail. It's very rare to find hearts on stamps like this , and the level of detail on each of them points to this being a quality piece. Rather than having a handle, each side of the stamp is indented to allow for better movement and positioning.

There are some old worm holes and trails on the back of the stamp, plus two on the front but these have been treated and don't affect the look or use of the piece.
