Rare Antique 'Poivre' Pinch Pot

This is a fantastic piece of treasure, a stunning little pinch pot for 'poivre', or pepper.

With hand painted typography and decoration in complementary yellow and blue, this is a beautiful piece of antique French kitchenware.

Made from ironstone, this sweet pot oozes charm. The pot has feathered decoration around it, with a clear label section where 'Poivre' has been hand painted. The pot has suffered some lightly stained crazing from use, and a small chip to its base towards the back of the pot, but there are no cracks.

A beautiful piece that is still great for use, filled with pepper to use during cooking and at the table.
