Rare Antique French White Ironstone Fish Platter

This is a wonderful and very rarely seen example of a long and elegant antique French white ironstone fish serving platter.

A simple, yet beautiful oval shape, it is rare to find fish platters like this in such excellent condition. Dating from the early to mid 20th Century, this platter has no crazing, chips or cracks. With just some minor age spots in places and general wear to the base commensurate with use, it’s in mint condition and is very clean. 

Made of heavyweight white ironstone, it’s a stunning item. Perfect, of course, for serving fish at a dinner party, these do also make fantastic large fruit bowls or trinket dishes too.
