A lovely large and chippy example with a beautiful spongeware cafe au lait bowl.

The pattern on this is stunning, with green, blue and burnt orange patterns repeated around the bowl. It is also a much larger size than those you normally come across. 

Although there is a chip and hairline on one side, this doesn't penetrate all the way through the ironstone and it is nonetheless still a beautiful piece to have displayed.
