These wonderful Victorian white ironstone eggs are a perfect display piece. They were used in chicken coops to encourage hens to lay more eggs.
Available to purchase individually, both these eggs are very clean. They also have a slightly blue finish to them, which is rare to find.
Both of the eggs do have an old rust mark. This is less visible on one example, although that has a fine crack in the glaze running around its middle. But they are still both in very good condition; most come with lots more wear, tear and discolouration having been used in chicken coops.
