This is a quality and rare piece of antique treen kitchenalia, with this butter or sugar mould featuring an excellent and deeply carved peach.

It is a very pretty piece of carving, with lovely detail of the foliage surrounding the fruit, and it is rare to see this subject matter.

The mould is also in excellent overall condition, with just some surface scratches in places. The sides of the mould have more wear, with some loss to the wood which has weathered over time. There are also remnants of pen marks on the back of the mould. But these do not detract from the front of the mould in any way, nor does it alter the stamp quality.
