A beautiful rare piece, this antique Dutch Delft tile dates to the 17th Century.

Likely to date to around 1650, this is a remarkable piece of history and is a decorative antique piece in its own right.

Featuring blue and white decoration, the centre of the tile depicts a leaping roe deer, within a blue frame and circle cord border.

It is in very nice condition, especially considering its age. The colouring of is still quite vivid. There are pock marks and wear to the surface of the tile, plus a small amount of loss on the top tight hand side. However, there is no loss to the tile and it is in its original condition with no restoration.
